About Steve Frederick
Steve has been helping people to get unstuck in their careers
since 1992,
and he has worked with clients ranging from top level executives to
new college grads. Steve has been a regular columnist in Chicago
area newspapers and has held numerous workshops to audiences in many
settings (see Steve's Workshops below). He has worked in both
private practice and in affiliation with a national career counseling
organization personally assisting over 700 people in improving
their careers. Steve has also
helped numerous clients to win better salary packages as a salary
negotiations coach. Steve holds a Masters Degree in Public
Administration. Prior to his career work Steve's background includes
work in all three major areas of service, Government as well as both
the non-profit and for profit sectors of business. Steve has served
as a legislative assistant to the Wisconsin State Legislature and as
Executive Director of the Chicago Area Committee on Occupational
Safety and Health.
